Transportation
The city of Shangyu enjoys advantageous transportation
conditions. Various kinds of transportation means are
available here, including railway, expressway, highway,
canal and seaport. It is 50 km from Hangzhou Xiaoshan
International Airport, 35 minutes to drive there, and
62 km from Ningbo Airport, 40 minutes to drive there.
Shangyu Port, located in north Shangyu, is the only
entrance to the sea on the south bank of Hangzhou Bay.
It is 220 km from Shanghai Port, China¡¯s largest port
and 62 km from Ningbo Port. By the end of 2008, two
cross-sea bridges spanning over Hangzhou Bay will have
been completed. At that time, it will be only half an
hour of drive to Shanghai.
